Cushaw is an ancient heirloom squash that dates as far back as 7000 BC. However it’s said to have been brought to this country by the Indians over 16,000 years ago. These plants can produce very large fruit that can weigh up to 30lbs and is our Absolute favorite squash to grow. Its delicious as a side dish but equally delicious as a pie. This winter squash is a vigorous grower with vines up to 20 feet.
